Course Summary

From exploring how machines work to designing creative solutions, students will build confidence in problem-solving, teamwork, and innovation. They’ll develop foundational skills in engineering, sustainability, physics, and basic coding through hands-on, age-appropriate projects that make technology engaging and accessible. The course emphasises skill-building through action, using design thinking, collaboration, and reflection to help students grow into confident learners and creative thinkers.

Academics & Extracurriculars

Students are introduced to key concepts through hands-on, engaging, structured sessions that build confidence, collaboration and early subject understanding. Lessons will include practical tasks in areas such as design, robotics and basic programming to enable students to build curiosity, collaboration and confidence.

Sapphire Education Frequently Asked Questions
Are airport transfers provided?
We can offer a meet-and-greet airport transfer service at an additional cost, if requested. This includes collection from major UK airports and drop-off at the course location.
Is course insurance provided?
Yes, course insurance is provided.
What supervision is provided?
We maintain a high staff-to-student ratio and have dedicated Sapphire staff living on site to ensure round-the-clock care, guidance, and pastoral support. Student safety and wellbeing are our top priorities.
How many hours of tuition are provided?
Students will receive 35+ hours of subject learning and academic enrichment, taught in small groups by passionate teachers. Outside of these lessons, students will attend Masterclasses, Cultural Excursions, Guest Speaker & Q&A Sessions, as well as structured social and wellbeing time.
What visa do I need and how do I get it?
Depending on where you are travelling from, some students may require a visa. We recommend referring to the UK Government website for up-to-date official advice: https://www.gov.uk/check-uk-visa
Where will I be staying / what is the accommodation like?
All students stay in modern, en-suite accommodation within a secure, university-style residence. Rooms are comfortable, private, and designed to give students a real taste of independent living. Pastoral staff are on-site 24/7 for support and supervision.
Will I get a certificate?
Student will have an end-of-course graduation, where they will receive their certificate.
