Your week begins with an introduction to UK Law, where you’ll meet an experienced corporate lawyer who will give you a real insight into commercial law, contracts and how businesses navigate the legal world.

You’ll then visit Whitestone Chambers, meeting its owner and frequent BBC guest Lawrence Power, to gain a unique perspective on life at the Bar. You’ll also spend time at a high-street solicitors’ office, meeting the legal team and exploring areas such as family law, traffic law and real-estate law to understand the breadth of legal practice in the UK.

At the Royal Courts of Justice, you’ll take part in a workshop led by court staff inside one of their real courtrooms, and even get the chance to sit in on a live hearing at the Old Bailey, one of London’s most famous criminal courts.

Guided by mentors from top UK universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, UCL and LSE, you’ll gain valuable advice on studying law and preparing for a legal career, while building confidence in public speaking, reasoning and argument.

You’ll stay at UCL’s Ramsay Hall, right in the heart of London, with 24/7 safeguarding and security and your own private room, giving you a taste of university life.
